Families First has teamed up with the Missoula Public Library to start offering Student-Led Project-Based Learning (PBL) as an after school initiative through Families First’s Dream Bigger program. This program will start with 24 open spots for students to apply. Our goal is empowering youth from grades 7 to 12 to lead themselves through real world experiences, developing projects over the course of a semester or year long commitment. We will have professional mentors helping guide along the way. Students will need to find their own transportation. We will be providing snacks, activities and all supplies needed for programming. We will also be able to guarantee $100 seed funding for each student’s project! We are currently taking applications; you can find them online in the URL listed below. The program will be starting September 10, 2024 – May 22, 2025 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from end of school day to 6:00pm. Please take a look at our application and website and reach out with any questions you might have!
